Amami Oshima is filled with ancient forests and caressed by refreshing sea breezes.
We use locally sourced wood chips and Amami’s beneficial native bacteria for bedding to create an environment as close to nature in the huts.
We feed the pigs with natural spring water and coarse grain cane sugar.
The meat is finely textured, tender, and succulent.
We use AKARINTON pork.
We always use made Hot dog from pigs from Amami Oshima, Dominican cuisine, Central and South American cuisine, other country cuisine on weekly basis.
I started a hot dog Food Truck in Amami Oshima.
I am Damian from the Dominican Republic and was a chef in the US NAVY.
After retiring, I owned a shot bar in Fukuoka, I served as an English teacher ALT in Amami, But I returned to being a chef using the ingredients of Amami Oshima, in order to get to know the Dominican Republic and other countries’ cuisine I decided to start a Food Truck that can move anywhere.
We had weekends events in various places, but Food Trucks were not so good in rain and wind, so we built it a roof and car port so we can open even on rainy day in Amasami City Kasari cho Yoan, We are open all day on weekdays by the sea.
We have a tent on Fridays and Saturdays we are making a secret base.
Even customers with small children can play without worry, also they can nap in the tent.
However, since you are in front of the sea, when you come down to the beach, please do not take your eyes off the children.
In the future, I would like to increase the number of children’s playable toys, place English books, make places where I can relax, and will do various fun projects, so thank you.
